Cape May To Host New Bob Dylan Biopic Starring Timothee Chalamet
The film will portray Dylan's controversial decision to plug in his guitar, a move that incited uproar among folk traditionalists, famously prompting a fan to shout "Judas!" at a subsequent concert. According to NJ.com, Cape May will host the filming of these electrifying moments in May, as the movie delves into Dylan's ascent to becoming the voice of a generation in the 1960s.
With Edward Norton portraying Pete Seeger and Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, the production is also in search of extras aged 18 and above. Grant Wilfley Casting is on the lookout for individuals willing to participate in scenes set at a 1965 concert, with specific requirements such as being comfortable with period-appropriate hairstyles and smoke exposure, as well as having no wool allergies.

Local applicants are preferred, with selected extras provided transportation to Jersey City for costume fittings. Compensation stands at $208 for 8 hours for SAG-AFTRA members and $176 for 10 hours for nonmembers.
