Ocean City 23 Annual First Night- What’s New Year’s Eve without a celebration? Ocean City goes above and beyond to ring in the New Year with their 23rd annual First Night. More than 60 performances are scheduled featuring comedy, jazz, theater, pianists, gospel, doo wop, acrobats, magicians. Headliners include The Blue Notes, Hegeman String Band, Ocean City Pops, The Trammps, Fabulous Grease Band just to name a few.  

 

Entertainment is located at 15 performance sites throughout the city. Programs are 40 minutes, giving guests plenty of time to walk to the next location. There will also be free jitney service from 5 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. between sites. Families will enjoy ice skating, pony rides, kid’s rides and star gazing at the HS Planetarium. New Year’s Eve Celebration For Children- Sea Isle City will host the resort’s annual New Year’s Eve Celebration for children. The years theme, “New Year’s Eve in Egypt” will be highlighted by a variety of decorations that will have guests feeling as though they are on the banks of the Nile River. The celebration includes buffet dinner, dancing and family entertainment.
