Christmas Tree Lightings In Cape May County 2022
The Shore is a magical place to enjoy the Christmas and holiday seasons! Check out these unique tree lighting events throughout Cape May County:
-November 19, Cape May Physick Estate Tree Lightning
5-8p.m. 1048 Washington Street, Cape May
The Physick Estate hosts this festive evening to kick off the holiday season. The fun begins with a concert by The Atlantic Brass Band, followed by a Physick Estate Open House and finally Santa’s tree lighting at 7pm. The Old Fashioned Christmas Exhibit will be open until 8pm. Donations of non-perishable food items are accepted for the Cape May Community Food Closet.
-November 25, Avalon Santa Arrival & Tree Lighting
4:30pm. Dune Drive from 80th Street to 7th Street
Santa returns for a very special appearance this year! Head out to Dune Drive at any location from 80th to 7th street and wave as Santa and many special friends pass by for this festive holiday parade. Santa will be helping Borough officials officially light up Dune Drive and the annual holiday display for the season!
-November 25, Stone Harbor Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Reeds in Stone Harbor
5 p.m. Santa & his elves are on vacation in Stone Harbor, but they’ve agreed to help us with one very important task… don’t miss the magical moment when our twinkling tree lights up the bay. From 5-8pm, enjoy Fire Pit Friday!
-November 26, Sea Isle Parade & Tree Lighting
6pm. The parade will begin at 31st street and central avenue to 84th street, 84th street to Landis and then Landis to JFK Boulevard. Fire engines, costumed characters and Saint Nick on a holiday float will highlight the parade. Then immediately following a tree lighting ceremony and other festivities will happen at Excursion Park.
-November 26, Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Le Mer
6 p.m. 1317 Beach Ave, Cape May
La Mer Beachfront Resort will be transformed from the beautiful colors of Fall to a Christmas Wonderland! Enjoy live entertainment, Santa and Mrs. Clause, and our annual Christmas Tree Lighting on the front lawn!
-December 2, Congress Hall Christmas Tree Lighting
200 Congress Pl, Cape May
---6:00 PM: Live Music on the Congress Hall Lawn
We'll kick off the evening with live music, featuring the talents of the Don Evans Trio, the HoneyHawks and the Cape May All-Star Jazz Quintet.
---7:30 PM: Concert and Sing-Along with the Congress Hall Festival Choir
Who doesn't love a holiday sing-along? The Congress Hall Festival choir will take the stage to lead the crowd in festive song.
---8:00 PM: Tree Lighting Ceremony Begins
After our sing-along, we'll count down together and throw the switch!
-November 27, Cape May County Park & Zoo Tree Lighting Ceremony
3 to 6 p.m. Free.
The Cape May County Park and Zoo and the Cape May County Board of County Commissioners are welcoming families and residents to Santa’s Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday November 26.
The Ceremony and Lighting of the Tree will be at 5:00 P.M. Collectibles and crafts will be for sale by the Cape May County Associations of Zoo Keepers and various vendors from 2:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. The Zoo will be open from 10:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
The celebration will include live holiday music by the John Walter Cape Community Band, an ice sculpture demonstration, the polar express train ride, bounce house castle & slide, character appearances, free treats for all and a visit by the jolly man himself in the red suit. Join us for this free family friendly favorite event to kick off the holiday season.
-December 1, Wildwood Crest Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
6 p.m.
Sunset Lake at Atlanta and New Jersey Avenues in Wildwood Crest at 6:00 p.m. on December 1, 2022. Tree lighting ceremony to kick off the Christmas season in the borough. Live music, light refreshments, visit from Santa Claus and more!
-December 2, Ocean City Parade & Tree Lighting
6:00 P.M. The parade route is down Asbury Avenue beginning at 6th street and ending at 12th street.
-December 2, North Wildwood Tree Lighting
4:30 p.m. Hereford Inlet Lighthouse Courtyard
Festive ceremony will take place at the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse Courtyard, 1st & Central Avenues, in North Wildwood. Christmas tree lighting event includes music, refreshments, free tour of lighthouse and Santa Claus! 4:30 p.m. Free admission.
-December 2, Wildwood Byrne Plaza Tree Lighting
Byrne Plaza, Downtown Wildwood. Approximately 8:00 p.m
-December 10, Wildwoods Family Holiday Celebration & Tree Lighting Ceremony
Enjoy a family-friendly event at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. featuring FREE admission to holiday-themed crafters and movies, photos with Santa, choir performances, children’s craft making table, a magician, face painting, dance performances and much more!
