Following his performance on the show, the Society of Magicians awarded him Illusionist of the Year Award! Rock The Boat: Live Music On the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, Friday, Aug 19, 6-9pm, 1200 Lincoln Blvd, Cape May
Reserve your spot now and enjoy the Rock The Boat cruise! If you've never been on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, which crosses the Delaware Bay, this is a great time to check it out. Bring your sea legs and your dancing shoes! This event takes place each Friday with different musical artists, and the season ends August 26. So, make it this week or next! Ferry departs at 6pm, arrives in Lewes, DE, departs Lewes at 7:45pm, and arrives back in Cape May at 9:10pm. Carnival at Congress Hall, Monday, Aug 22, 5:30-9pm, 200 Congress Pl, Cape May
Monday nights at historic Congress Hall is the place to be! The Grand Lawn, which overlooks the beach, is transformed into a carnival festival with booths, carnival hosts, games for all ages, face painting, balloon twisting, food, treats and more! Snack on some kettle corn while playing skee ball, chow down on hot dogs while taking part in a pig race. You can even take a train ride on the CongressHall Express. Meistro Scheible conducts a stellar cast of thrilling singers (Elisa Matthews, Cody Austin, Dominic Inferrera, Neil Nelson) and full choir (Cape Shore Chorale) in this spectacular presentation of the beloved musical, Showboat. Popular songs from the classic include "Make Believe", "Ol' Man River" and "Can't Help Lovin' That Man". The performance takes place at the beautiful Ocean City Music Pier. Autism is a truly troublesome issue for more and more Americans every year. Come out, get some exercise, raise money and awareness for this charitable event. Registration and check-in is at 7:30am on the Wildwood beach at Rio Grande Ave, and the race will begin on the boardwalk at 8:30am. Early is registration is $25 up until the 22nd, and $30 the day of the race. All runners will get a Run Now For Autism Speaks t-shirt, and medals will be awarded to the top three men, women and children. All proceeds benefit Autism Speaks.
