Harlem Globetrotters, Wednesday-Saturday, August 16-19, Wildwoods Convention Center
The Globetrotters have been coming to town each summer for decades now, so get in on the fun if you haven't already! They will play in four games and host four clinics for kids. After the games, be sure to get some autographs and chit chat with the stars! For more info and tickets, click here.
Around The Island Row, Monday, August 21, start time 7:30am
This annual event, founded in 1976, is a local favorite. See lifeguards from each shore town compete for the fastest time around the entire Wildwood Island! The race starts at the inlet beach on 1st Ave in North Wildwood, and ends at the beach on 15th at the North Wildwood Lifeguard headquarters.
Pop Up Beer Garden, Thursday, August 17, 4-9:30pm, Cape May Lighthouse
Spend an evening relaxing at beautiful Cape May Point State Park, home to the famous Cape May Lighthouse and miles of beach and trails. Award-winning Cape May Brewery will be on hand to serve up the finest brews in South Jersey. Proceeds benefit Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities. Admission is FREE and open to all ages. Live music and food will be available.
Paranormal Weekend, Saturday-Sunday, Aug 19-20, Historic Cold Spring Village, 720 Rt. 9
Interested in the eerie? Head over to Cold Spring this weekend, with its vast collection of homes and buildings from 1691-1912, for demonstrations, workshops and tours highlighting the supernatural. It will be an un-boooo-lievably good time! 10-4:30pm each day.
Beach Boys Live, Monday-Tuesday, Aug 21-22, Ocean City Music Pier, 6pm & 8:30pm
