End of Summer Beach Bash & Bonfire, Friday, August 24, 6pm-10pm
Head to the beach at Rio Grande Ave in Wildwood for this end-of-season celebration! You and your family will love the Game Garden, S'mores Pits, food and beverage and live entertainment. Coolers are welcome, but no glass, please. Fireworks to follow at 10pm! Admission is $10 for 12 and older, $5 for kids 3-11, and 2 and under are free.
76ers Shore Tour, Thursday-Saturday, August 23-25, various locations
The 76ers Shore Tour will make stops in Avalon, Stone Harbor and Wildwood. Fans of all ages will be treated by the team's Entertainment Squad, 76ers Dunk Squad, the Sixers Dancers, the mascot Franklin, and various 76ers players. ESPN 97.3 will be broadcasting from the Stone Harbor stop. Locations and times are as follows:
*Shore Tour Beach Party, PipDog BBQ on Morey's Piers in Wildwood, Thursday, 2-4pm
*Shore Tour Happy Hour, The Whitebrier in Avalon, Friday, 6-8pm
*Shore Tour Celebration, Stone Harbor Recreation Center, Saturday, 3-6pm
'Tri The Wildwoods' 5k, Triathlon and Kids Triathlon, Saturday, August 25
At 15th Ave and the beach in North Wildwood, triathlons for adults and kids, as well as a 5k, will take place! All adult participants will receive an awesome t-shirt, medal and FREE hot breakfast buffet following the race. For info and registration, click here.
Wildwoods Restaurant Week, Sunday-Thursday, August 26-30, Wildwoods
Wine and dine in some of the finest restaurants on the island! All participating restaurants will offer a four course meal (appetizer, salad, entree and dessert) for just $30. For more info, click here.
Stone Harbor Sidewalk Sale, Saturday, August 25, 9am-7pm
Shops on Stone Harbor's 96th St business district will offer sales and promotions for this one-day annual event.
'Singin' In The Rain Jr', Friday-Saturday, August 24-25, Ocean City Music Pier
One of the the greatest movie musicals of all time is faithfully adapted by Broadway legends Betty Comden and Adolph Green from their award winning screenplay. Snappy dialogue, rousing numbers and great dance by Middle School performers. For more info and tickets, click here.
Seafarer's Weekend At Cold Spring Village, Saturday-Sunday, August 25-26
Valhalla's Pirates, Captain Black and his crew will put on a legendary performance this weekend at Historic Cold Spring Village. The Sea Dogs Maritime, an authentic maritime reenactment group, will perform sea shanties both days. Children should look out for hidden gold that can be redeemed at the Country Store!
