Annual Craft Beer & Crab Festival- Cape May, August 6-Come to the beautiful grounds of the Physick Estate, and experience what CBS NY named one of New Jersey's Top Five Summer Festivals! This all-day festival features local craft beers to wash down favorite summer picnic foods such as steamed crabs, crab cakes, steamed shrimp, pulled pork, corn on the cob, potato salad and more. The Ocean City Arts Center's 54th Annual Boardwalk Art Show, August 5-7. More than 55 artist from around the country will be participating in this annual event. Art lovers will see paintings, prints and photography featuring landscapes, portraits, wildlife, cityscapes, seascapes and much more. Art work will be for sale in the following mediums: Oils, acrylics, watercolor, drawing/hand-pulled prints, mixed media and photography. Show runs 8th to 11th Streets on Ocean City Boardwalk. Disney's The Little Mermaid makes its Greater Ocean City Theatre Company and Ocean City POPS debut in a limited engagement at the Performing Arts Center. Audiences will be in awe as the Ocean City production features a professional cast, mesmerizing scenery, dazzling costumes, a full Broadway style orchestra, and high-flying effects. "Jus Nice" Sneaker Convention, Wildwood Convention Center, August 6-7 from 12-5pm. The Jus Nice Sneaker Convention is a fun and unique chance for sneaker aficionados (aka, sneaker-heads!) to buy, trade and sell the latest, hottest sneakers. This event is for ALL ages. There will be live music to get you in the sneaker-spirit, with DJ I-Roc, DJ Nightcrawler and DJ Cree. There will also be giveaways and raffles through the two day event. Cure At The Shore, August 6-7. This is a truly special event, the purpose of which is to raise awareness and money for the fight against breast cancer, run by the Beach Patrols of the Wildwoods and the Susan G. Komen Central and South Jersey Foundation. Their hope and goal is to "PINK OUT" the Jersey Shore by getting as many people to buy the pink t-shirts, all proceeds from the sales going to fight the disease.
