NJ BBQ & Blues Festival, Friday-Sunday, July 13-15, North Wildwood
Ever since this event began it's been a favorite, mixing the best blues and bbq the state has to offer. Head to Olde New Jersey Avenue in North Wildwood's entertainment district to enjoy the flavors and sounds of summer. FREE event! Friday 4-11pm, Saturday 10am-11pm, Sunday 10am-6pm.
Celtic Festival Weekend, Saturday-Sunday, July 14-15, Historic Cold Spring Village
Celebrate all things Irish and Scottish at one of the most beautiful places at the Shore, Cold Spring Village. World-class Celtic musicians will perform all weekend, the New Jersey Irish Setter Rescue will perform an event, and the Kiddie Highland Games will take place, a miniature version of the adult version held every year in Scotland. 10am-4:30pm both days. 720 Rt. 9 S in Cold Spring.
National EVP Beach Volleyball Tournament, Friday-Saturday, July 13-14
Some of the best amateurs (and even a few professionals) descend on Schellenger Ave and the beach in Wildwood to showcase their skills. Friday 5-6pm, Saturday 11am-6pm.
Boogie Board Races, Saturday, July 14, North Wildwood beach at 15th Avenue
This event is over 20 years old, and a favorite among the young and young at heart. Ride your best to win prizes in categories including Longest, Most Creative and Best Overall. Registration begins at 9am, event at 10am. Bring your own boogie board and have fun!
Promenade Art Show, Friday-Sunday, July 13-15, Cape May Promenade
Head to the the seaside for this annual art show, featuring three full days of some of the best unique shopping at the Shore. 10am-5pm all days. 714 Beach Ave
Duke of Fluke Fishing Tournament, Friday-Saturday, July 13-14
Can you catch the winning fish? Either in boat or kayak, you're invited to try your luck for the big one! Captain's Meeting at 7pm on Friday, Saturday the tournament goes from 7:30am-5pm, with a Pig Roast and Award's Dinner immediately to follow. For registration and details, click here.
