Wildwoods Restaurant Week, Sunday-Friday, June 18-23, various locations
The Wildwoods are home to much more than your favorite boardwalk goodies, and this a great chance to explore the island's culinary scene. For $30 restaurants will serve up four course meals: appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. For a list of participating restaurants, visit this link.
Hereford Lighthouse Maritime Festival, Saturday-Sunday, June 17-18
Come out to the beautiful Hereford Inlet Lighthouse, one of the oldest in the nation, for this unique celebration featuring arts and crafts, live music, activities for the kids, food vendors and more! Pirates will roam the grounds, so be on your toes! Enjoy the lighthouse grounds' award winning gardens, as well as guided tours. Festival is free, tours are $5 for adults, $1 for kids. 10-5pm on Saturday, 10-4pm on Sunday.
ESA South Jersey District Surf Contest, Saturday, June 17, 7th St. beach in Ocean City
Do you like to catch waves? Even if you don't, it's still a lot of fun to watch! Sign ups are at 7am, first heat in the water is at 8am. No-wave date is June 24. For more info call 609-884-5277.
Morey's Piers Father's Day Celebration, Sunday, June 18, 11-5pm
There's always a good time to be had on Morey's Piers, but this Sunday Dad's get some special TLC with FREE admission to rides and sliders! Piers are located at Schellenger Ave on the boardwalk, and 25th Ave on the boardwalk.
Cape May Historical Society 15th Annual Antique and Fine Craft Fair, Saturday, June 17
Cape May is brimming with antiques and outstanding crafters, so this event is a great place to do some gift shopping. Proceeds will benefit the Historical Society. Held 9-5pm in Wilbraham Park on Perry St. in West Cape May.
