Avalon Wine & Spirits Festival, Saturday, May 12, 30th & Avalon Ave, 6:30pm
This extravagant event will feature more than 200 high end wines and spirits, hors d'oeuvres by island restaurants, a silent auction, live music and more! Held inside the Avalon Community Hall. Tickets are $45 in advance or $50 at the door. Tickets can be bought at Fred's Liquor in Avalon and Stone Harbor, the Avalon Chamber of Commerce, or online here.
Spring Boardwalk Classic Car Show, Friday-Sunday, May 12-14, Wildwood Boardwalk
The car shows on the Wildwood Boardwalk are some of the best in the region, and this is the first of the year, a great chance to see the cars without the crowds of summer. Cars will be displayed Friday-Saturday, 10-3pm, and winners will be chosen Sunday at 9am inside of the Wildwood Convention Center.
38th Annual Great Cape May Foot Race, Saturday, May 13, 8am, Perry St. & Beach Ave
Cape May hosts its biggest race this Sunday, featuring both a 5k and a 10k. Registration can be completed online here, or the day of the race from 6-7:30am. Multiple cash prizes will be awarded. Immediately following, head to the Rusty Nail for awards ceremony and the afterparty!
Tony Bennett Live, Sunday, May 14, Caesar's in AC, 9pm

International Gymnastics Competition, Fri-Sat, May 12-13, Wildwood Convention Center
This competition, "The Beach Classic", will feature gymnasts of high skill level from not only the US but also abroad. On Friday, there will be an exhibition from 5-9pm, and the competition will be held Sunday from 10-7pm. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for kids.
