International Kite Festival, Friday-Monday, May 26-29, Wildwood beach at Rio Grande Ave and Wildwood Convention Center
This weekend, come down to the beach in Wildwood to see the largest kite festival in North America! Festivities begin Friday at 12pm and continue all the way through Memorial Day on Monday, including a stunt exhibition inside the Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday. Memorial Day Service, Monday, May 29, Spruce & New York in North Wildwood, 10am
Pay homage to those who have served in the military this Memorial Day, the reason for the season, as they say. The ceremony will be held at the North Wildwood Veterans Memorial. There will also be a parade held in Wildwood at 7:30pm, on Oak and Atlantic Aves, proceeding to the exact half-size replica of the Vietnam Vets Memorial in Washington, D.C.
