In a county with a huge range of activities, Cape May County has been lacking a second movie theater, with Stone Harbor having the only one at the moment!  Ocean City's boardwalk movie theater is set to reopen this summer, and the brand new Cape Square Entertainment Complex, opening this weekend in Rio Grande, will be a third option come July 15, 2023.  Located just over the Wildwood bridge in the heart of Cape May County, this centrally located complex should be quite popular for years to come!

After about 2 years worth of delays, the all-in-one center is finally opening!  The new complex will feature multiple movie screens, a virtual golf course, a bar and restaurant, bowling alley, arcade and more!

For right now, there is only one golf module, but more are planned in the future.  In what was once home to Frank's Theaters, 1990s-2019, this new entertainment complex will offer year round entertainment.

The shopping center was once vibrant in the 1990s, but saw a decline when K-Mart went out of business, and when Frank's did the same in 2019, the area was in need of amenities and that's what it got!  A new Tractor Supply is open next door, and there is a brand new VA medical clinic as well for county veterans.  

As for opening weekend on the big screens, the first movies to be shown at Cape Square will be: Insidious, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning, Asteroid City, Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny, and Spider Man: Across The Spiderverse.
