Sea Isle Polar Bear Weekend

Jump start the 2015 season with the Sea Isle City Polar Bear Weekend, February 13-15. Events begin Friday, February 13 with the crowning of the 2015 Polar Bear Royal Family. The Prince and Princess contest (for ages 12-16) will begin at 6:00 p.m. and the King and Queen Contest (for ages 21 and over) at 7:00 p.m. To enter the Prince and Princess Contest, visit www.seaislechamber.com and visit www.lacosta-seaisle.com to enter the King and Queen Contest. 

Saturday, February 14 gets underway with the popular Polar Bear Plunge Costume Contest begins at noon. The Polar Bear "Pep Rally" starts 1:15 p.m. followed by the Plunge at 2:00 p.m. on JFK Boulevard Beach. Come early, polar bears don't stay in the ocean very long! Afterwards, don't miss the Post-Plunge Party at 2:30 p.m. with Costume Contest Awards Ceremony 4:00 p.m. at LaCosta.

Sunday, February 15, Mike's Seafood sponsors a 5K Run and 1.5 Mile Fun Walk for Autism at noon on the Promenade. End this fantastic weekend with the sounds of the Strathmere Ensemble performing at the United Methodist Church Sun 4:00 p.m. Enjoy renowned musicians' right here in Sea Isle City!
