As of June 30 at 9 a.m., tickets are now available for the Night in Venice special viewing area at the Bayside Center. The viewing area offers various amenities and activities, including a picnic spot, snack stand, face-painting, a DJ, and bleacher seating. Ticket prices are $4 for children aged 12 and under and $8 for adults.
To purchase tickets, there are multiple options available. You can buy them online at oceancityvacation.com/boxoffice, call 609-399-6111 to make a purchase over the phone, or visit welcome centers located throughout town. It's important to note that admission is limited, so it is advisable not to wait too long to secure your tickets.
This year, Night in Venice will be celebrating all things Philadelphia. The theme for 2023 is "It's a Philly Thing," paying homage to the vibrant culture and spirit of Philadelphia. The esteemed Grand Marshal for the event will be Jim Gardner, the iconic Action News anchor.
The boat parade will commence at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, starting from the Ocean City-Longport Bridge. Following the parade, a fireworks display is scheduled to take place at approximately 9:15 p.m. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m., and entertainment will be provided leading up to the arrival of the parade. The entertainment will continue until the fireworks commence, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for all attendees.
Night in Venice promises to be a fantastic event, filled with festivities, beautiful boats, and a celebration of Philadelphia. Make sure to secure your tickets early to guarantee your spot in the special viewing area and to enjoy an unforgettable evening on July 29.
Alcohol is not permitted at the event, so attendees are advised to refrain from bringing alcoholic beverages.
Parking will not be available at the Bayside Center. However, a free shuttle service will be provided from remote parking locations. These locations include the Ocean City Municipal Airport, Ocean City Community Center, and Shelter Road parking area. The shuttle service aims to make transportation convenient for attendees.
Outside the Bayside Center, grandstands will be set up at various street ends along the bay. These grandstands are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. The street ends where grandstands will be located are Battersea Road, North Street, 1st Street, 2nd Street Marina, 4th Street, 6th Street, 11th Street, 13th Street, 15th Street, 16th Street, and Tennessee Avenue. These grandstands offer an alternative viewing option for those who do not purchase tickets for the special viewing area.
