Titi Monkeys Newest Additions To Cape May County Zoo
The Cape May County Zoo, ranked one of the best free zoos in the world, is excited to announce two new residents! Vino, and his brother, Pipeno, are Bolivian Gray Titi monkeys. They arrived from Dallas Zoo and took up residency with the common marmosets in their habitat near the lions.
Titi monkeys are endemic to Brazil and Bolivia, and live in forests in the Amazon River basin. Although their long hair makes them look larger, these monkeys only weigh between 2 and 3 lbs. Vino, Pipeno, and the marmosets are viewable year round and can be seen outside on sunny days over 50 degrees.
