Pickleball Fun at the Shore for All Ages! 

Looking for a fun and active way to spend time with family and friends? Pickleball is popping up all over the Jersey Shore—and there’s a court waiting for you! Whether you're a beginner, a seasoned player, or just in it for some laughs and sunshine, we've rounded up the best local spots to play. Check out the list below for locations, hours, and everything you need to plan your next pickleball outing!

Definitions:

Open Play - players rotate in and out per local court rules and play with others at the courts.

Informal Open Play - organized by the local players as opposed to organized/staffed by the township/borough.

Court Information:

Ocean City - Pay to Play $8 per day - pay all day - 18th Street and Haven Avenue, 11 outdoor dedicated PB courts and 5 pop-up courts in the summer season. Scheduled open play times, start at 7:30am - must sign up ahead to secure open play slot. Sign up opens at 7pm the evening before and sells out quickly. Other times, bring your own group to play.

Dennis Township - Free play - no formal summer program - 2 outdoor courts shared with tennis

Sea Isle City - No fee - 2 locations with dedicated PB courts- 9 courts at 42nd Place and the Bay (Marina courts) and 2 courts at West Jersey Avenue Across from JFK Boulevard Park. 8-12 open play with intermediate/advanced at Marina courts and beginners at Jersey Ave. 12 and after bring your own group.

Avalon - Pay to Play 8-12noon. $5/day. 18 dedicated PB courts at 8th st and Dune. Experienced beginners 10-12 daily. Advanced/Intermediate 8-12 T/W/Th. Advanced 8-10 Fri/Sun and 10-12 Sat/Mon. Intermediate 10-12 Fri/Sun and 8-10Sat/Mon. Bring your own group for free play 12-8pm and special events 5-7 Sun thru Thurs evenings - see What's all the racquet? Pickle, Paddle & Tennis on 7 Mile Island Special hours July 4th week

Stone Harbor - Pay to Play with 6 dedicated and 4 lined on tennis courts. 8am-12noon and 4-8pm. $5 drop in fee. Open play by level - experienced beginner and advanced 8-10 M/W/F/Sat and 10-12 T/Th/Sun. Intermediate 8-10 T/Th/Sun and 10-12 M/w/F/Sat.

North Wildwood - Free play Allen Park at 21st & Delaware Ave. Courts are lined on tennis courts. Informal open play daily starting at 8am

Wildwood Crest - Free play on 8 dedicated and 4 painted on tennis courts at 6300 Ocean Avenue. Informal open play all levels starting at 8am daily.

Lower Township - 2 courts in Diamond Beach (Lower Two). Free play Wed and Friday inside the Rec 9-1. Must be Lower resident or guest of resident.

Rio Grande - Free play on 8 dedicated PB courts at Railroad Ave Park - Informal Open play starting at 7:30 am - Competitive play on 4 courts and Social play on 4 courts.

Middle Township - Free play - 4 dedicated PB and 2 on a tennis court. Informal Open play starting at 8am daily - all levels welcome.
