Record Turnout For Sea Isle Autism Fundraiser

?The Mike’s Seafood Run-Walk for Autism was facing two big challenges Saturday for an event that usually draws thousands of participants and spectators to Sea Isle City over Presidents Day weekend.

Mike Monichetti, owner of Mike’s Seafood and organizer of the fundraiser along with his wife, Jeannie, acknowledged that he was worried many people would simply stay home instead of traveling to the shore after a day of partying at the huge Eagles Super Bowl championship parade in Philadelphia.

Monichetti said 2,200 runners and walkers signed up to participate. He estimated that close to 3,000 spectators showed up as w? ...

Record Number Of People Planning To Buy In 2025

This could be the year to sell your house – and here’s why. According to a recent NerdWallet survey, 15% of people are planning to buy a home this year. That’s actually a record high for this survey (see graph below):

Here’s why this is such a big deal. The percentage has been hovering between 9-11% since 2020. This recent increase shows buyer demand hasn’t disappeared – if anything, it indicates there’s pent-up demand ready to come back to the market.

That doesn’t mean the floodgates are opening and that there’s going to be a huge wave of buyers like we saw a few years ago. But this does signal there’ll be more activity this year than last.

At least some of the buyers who put their plans on hold over the past few years will jump back in. Whether they’re feeling more confident about moving, they’ve finally saved up enough to buy, or they simply can’t wait any longer – t ...

Does Your Interest Rate Have You Trapped?

One phrase I often hear is, "My mortgage is 3%; I’d be crazy to sell!" While that low rate might feel like a win, staying in a home that no longer meets your needs could end up costing you more in the long run. Let’s be honest—interest rates aren’t the reason most people move.
Life changes, and so do the things we need and want in a home. Whether you’re feeling cramped, craving a change of scenery, or your family’s needs are shifting, staying in a home that no longer fits can create stress and frustration. A 3% mortgage is great, but you know what’s even better? Living in a home that works perfectly for you.
The truth is, there’s no "perfect" time to move. Plus, the equity you’ve built could make your next move more attainable than you might think—you don’t have to settle!
Thinking about your next step? Call me today and lets explore your options to finding a home that fits your life. ...

The film, tentatively titled "Dish," is slated to come out next year and will have a star-studded cast featuring Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, Colman Domingo, Eve Hewson and Colin Firth. The movie is being produced by Universal Pictures and Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment, the outfit behind classics like "E.T." and "Jurassic Park."
?
A casting call issued Wednesday by Grant Wilfley Casting in New York seeks "Cape May locals" to appear as passengers at a train station and drivers in cars. The casting call describes the film with the code name "Non-View," although documents shared by Universal Pictures at last year's IMAX Investor Presentation refer to the project as "The Dish."

The scenes are tentatively slated to be shot March 10-14 in Cape May. No actin? ...
