Check out the trucks on the beach at this free, family fun event October 7 – 9, 2022! Show trucks and pulling trucks will be on the beach for all to enjoy starting at Cresse Avenue. Friday and Saturday will feature two shows a day at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. where pulling trucks will perform to see who is king of the Wildwood beach! Browse vendor alley and get some goodies for your own ride or grab some fresh apparel.

West Cape May celebrates her farming heritage with the Annual Lima Bean Festival in the Borough’s Backyard Park! The lowly legume takes center stage beginning at 9:00am and delights locals and visitors alike with her vast array of recipes, crafts and products available.

-October 8, Pumpkin Festival & Halloween Parade At Historic Cold Spring Village

It’s the spookiest time of the year at the Village! Celebrate all things Halloween and autumn at the 29th Annual Pumpkin Festival. This fun, free event will take place on the grounds of Historic Cold Spring Village and is presented by the Lower Township Rotary Club. Guests are encouraged to donate non-perishable goods to the ‘Share the Harvest’ Food Drive.


Families can enjoy pumpkin painting and games throughout the day. A variety of crafters will sell their wares along the Village’s shell-paved lanes. Vendors will be selling hot dogs, funnel cake, and other snacks. Visit a haunted house at the Village Barn. Don’t miss the Children’s Halloween Parade at 11am. Please call the Lower Township Recreation Department at (609) 886-7880 for parade registration information.

This enormous event downtown features over 400 crafters, food vendors, music and more. In the evening, family night entertainment on the boardwalk with fireworks at 9:30pm.

-October 9, Wildwoods Food & Music Festival

The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce presents a Food and Music Street Fair on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. featuring a full day of fantastic food options, music, shopping and more. The festival will take place in Downtown Wildwood starting at Byrne Plaza along Pacific Avenue between Oak and Schellenger Avenues in Wildwood.
The festival will include live music, delicious food, messy pie-eating contests, craft vendors and much more. The festival will provide fun for the kids with a “Kids Korner,” open from noon – 5 p.m., featuring games, pumpkin painting, and inflatable bounce houses. The festival is FREE to attend.

Registration will include a selection of field trips, trolley trips, boat trips, and indoor programs, as well as our Thursday evening Kick-off Party at the Rusty Nail! Cape May Convention Hall will be packed with all kinds of nature-related vendors, plus a live animal show every couple of hours by Nature Nick.

Join fellow sleuths over a weekend of mystery with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s master sleuth, Sherlock Holmes, and his loyal friend Dr. John Watson, in an original mystery, “Sherlock Holmes and Send in the Clowns!,” written by Jacklyn Fazio.

The play begins Friday evening and ends on Sunday with the mystery revealed! Stalk the streets of Cape May in your own search of clues to help fill in the missing pieces while competing for the grand prize: a weekend for two to next year’s performance. -October 16-17, Wildwoods Fabulous 50s Weekend

Friday night features a ’50s Dance Party featuring The Cameos at the Wildwoods Convention Center from 6:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. on October 14, 2022. Tickets are $16 plus tax per person. A FREE street fair will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. featuring classic cars, food and craft vendors, and live entertainment (Side Story, Rave On, Animal House). Saturday night’s concert in the Wildwoods Convention Center begins at 7 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.) on October 15, 2022 featuring music from the 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s. Saturday night musical entertainment showcases The Vogues, Tommy James & The Shondells,  The Voice of Tribute starring Tommy C (as the voice of Frankie Valli, Lou Christie, Bobby Darren and Frank Sinatra), and Nathaniel Cullors as Young Michael Jackson!

Save the date for the first annual Sea Isle City Harvest Classic on Saturday, Oct. 22 at Excursion Park! It will be a day jam-packed with fall festivities that include live music, a pie baking contest, pumpkin decorating for the kids, hayrides on the beach, local stores will offer pop up shopping, and there will be a surf competition on the beach. As some added fun throughout our community, businesses and organizations will decorate a scarecrow to display at their store or building in town! The Cape May County Park and Zoo’s annual “Boo at the Zoo” event will take place on Sat., Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Cape May County Park, in Cape May Court House.

Sponsored by the Cape May County Board of Commissioners, this event is free and open to the public.  Visitors of all ages are invited to wear a costume to this fun family event, which includes activities for the kids, craft station, games, candy, entertainment, animals, inflatable obstacle course, pirate ship and more.

A Costume Contest will start at 11 a.m., registration begins at 10 a.m. An awards presentation will follow the Halloween costume contest.  The Cape May Dancers will perform at 12:00 p.m. with a live animal presentation. following. Master DJ & Sound will be rocking the event with some special Halloween tunes

-October 29, North Wildwood Halloween Block Party & Trunk Or Treat

Free, along Olde NJ Avenue in North Wildwood. Music, Magic, Balloon Twisting and more! Families are encouraged to bring their vehicles decorated for Halloween. Children will come in costume and visit each car where families will provide treats from the trunks of their cars. There will be no judging of the children’s costumes, but prizes will be awarded to the best decorated vehicles. Registration is free and forms are available at 900 Central Avenue in North Wildwood or at City Hall. All vehicles participating in the event must be registered. Parking for visitors will be available in the municipal lot at 2nd and Olde New Jersey Avenues.

There will also be a buffet available and an open bar from 7pm-9pm ,and then a cash bar from 9pm-10pm.  All money raised will be going toward Christmas presents and other donations to local students and families of Cape May County .
