As a lead into our 13th season of TEDxCapeMay, titled "New Horizons," we will film one of our presentations at the Atlantic Cape Community College auditorium on Thursday, September 19, at 5:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. The attendee fee is $10. ACCC students are free with ID.  Our main TEDx event will be filmed at Cape May Convention Hall on Sunday, October 6, from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $65, including an open bar reception. Join Morey’s Piers for Oktoberfest! Mariner’s Pier will be open from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Fridays, noon to 10:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Oktoberfest takes place on weekends from September 13 through October 13. Bust out your lederhosen and raise your steins for the best Oktoberfest celebration this side of the Atlantic. -September 21-24, North Wildwood Annual Irish Fall Festival  

Olde New Jersey Avenue and surrounding pubs, North Wildwood. The largest Irish Festival on the East Coast celebrating Irish heritage with dancing, music, food and craft vendors – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.  Other festivities include a golf tournament, boxing, Irish dance lessons, 5K run and 1 mile walk, pipe exhibition, food court, and Catholic Mass.  The events conclude with a parade on Surf Avenue from 20th to Spruce and Olde New Jersey Avenues, North Wildwood. -September 21, Ocean City Jeep Invasion

The Fall Ocean City, New Jersey Jeep Invasion event is a bit smaller then our Wildwood event, we are limited to 400 Jeeps on the iconic Ocean City, New Jersey boardwalk.  All the Jeeps meet in the morning, and they get a police escorted parade through town, up onto the boardwalk, where we all park for the day!  The Ocean City show does feature a show and shine contest, as well as a vendor section.  All Jeeps must be pre-registered to park on the boardwalk, there is no day of registration, however spectator admission is free.

-September 22, Ocean City Half Marathon

Ocean City's premier race event showcases the boardwalk, downtown and ocean views along a fast and flat course. Event includes 10-miler and a 5K. The race was named the Best New Jersey Half Marathon for 2024.  Click Here for more info and to register!

-September 27-28, Wildwood Olde Time Italian Festival

The Olde Time Italian Festival returns to Fox Park on Friday, September 27, and Saturday, September 28, bringing the flavors and traditions of Italy to the Jersey Shore. Organized by the Sons of Italy Wildwood, the event will feature two days of food, entertainment, and cultural celebrations.

The festival will be held at Fox Park, located on Ocean Avenue between Burk and Montgomery Avenues, across from the Wildwoods Convention Center. Activities will begin on Friday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and continue Saturday from noon to 11 p.m.

This free event will showcase Italian crafts, authentic cuisine, live entertainment, and games for children. Attendees can explore vendors offering Italian-made goods and savor traditional dishes like pasta, sausages, and cannoli. A highlight of the weekend will be the Procession of Saints and Mass on Friday at 5 p.m.

-October 1-31, Halloween-Season Events In Cape May

-October 5, Run The Crest 10 Miler & 6K

The Run the Crest 5K is set to begin at 7 am, with the Run the Crest 10-miler following at 8 am. Those who wish to complete a half marathon can run in both races. The Crest Kids Fun Run, open to children ages 10 and under, will be held at 11 am.  The event will feature individual and team registration. Team categories include running clubs, triathlon clubs, adults 18 and older, youth ages 14-17, youth ages 10-13, military heroes (for active military and veterans), first responder heroes (police, fire, EMTs) and lifeguards.  Registration for the Run the Crest running festival is currently open at runsignup.com/runthecrest.com.

Cape May County vineyards are producing delicious wines and here is your chance to enjoy them with round-trip transportation via Cape May MAC trolley. Board the trolley at the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St., and travel to the Bellevue Tavern in Cape May Court House for a delicious lunch. Then it’s back on board the trolley for an afternoon of touring and sampling wine selections by vintners at Jessie Creek Winery and Natali Vineyards. Guests will receive a tour, tasting and souvenir glass at Jessie Creek Winery and a tasting with cheese and crackers at Natali Vineyards. The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 20th Annual Wildwoods '50s, '60s & '70s Weekend, scheduled for October 18 & 19. This event has become a staple in the Wildwoods, attracting visitors who love great oldies music.  The Wildwoods '50s, '60s & '70s Weekend is a musical celebration of the Wildwoods' role in the birth of Rock 'n' Roll. This year's event features a concert on Saturday, October 19, headlined by the legendary American actor, singer and former teen idol, Mr. Frankie Avalon.  Tickets go on sale on Ticketmaster May 9.

Every year, Cape May turns into a Dickensian Christmas wonderland, with the second most Victorian-era architecture in the nation it is really magical.  There are plenty of holiday events as well, including this performance of a brand new play!   Playwright Marisa Smith won the Edgerton Foundation New Play Award.  Based on O.
