Every year, Cape May turns into a Dickensian Christmas wonderland, with the second most Victorian-era architecture in the nation it is really magical. There are plenty of holiday events as well, including this performance of a brand new play! Playwright Marisa Smith won the Edgerton Foundation New Play Award. Based on O. Henry’s “The Gift of the Magi,” a short story set in Victorian times, this modern adaptation updates the tale of love and sacrifice to the modern day. Click Here For Tickets.

Crest Pier, 5800 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood Crest. TJ Hunt Memorial 5K Turkey Trot. Please join us for a fun filled Thanksgiving morning. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m. The 5K route starts and finishes at Crest Pier on Ocean Ave. Registration fees are $30 for adults and $10 for kids under 18 years of age. -November 30, Tree Lighting & More At Cape May County Park & Zoo
The Cape May County Park and Zoo and the Cape May County Board of County Commissioners are welcoming families and residents to Santa’s Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday November 30 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. The Ceremony and Lighting of the Tree will be at 5:00 P.M. Vendors with collectibles and crafts for sale including unique items from the Cape May County Associations of Zoo Keepers will be available from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm. The Zoo will be open from 10 am to 3:30 pm.
The celebration will include live holiday music by the John Walter Cape Community Band, Candyland bounce house & Polar Bear slide, a walk through the Wild Lights, character appearances, ice sculpture demonstration, treats for all and a visit by the jolly man himself in the red suit. Also don't miss the performance of "Elves Gone Wild." Join us for this free family friendly favorite event to kick off the holiday season.

Join the Wildwood Christmas Parade on December 6, 2024, at 6:30 p.m.!
Parade registration/check-in begins at 5 p.m. at the North Wildwood Recreation Center, 10th and Central Avenues, North Wildwood. Parade lines up along Central Avenue and steps off 16th Avenue at 6:30 p.m. proceeding along Central Avenue, then Pacific Avenue to Spicer Avenue where the parade will turn and proceed to Byrne Plaza. Awards will be announced for floats and decorated business lighting contest at approximately 7:30 p.m. in Byrne Plaza. Cape May County vineyards are producing delicious wines and here is your chance to enjoy them with round-trip transportation via Cape May MAC trolley. Board the trolley at the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St., and travel to the Bellevue Tavern in Cape May Court House for a delicious lunch. Then it’s back on board the trolley for an afternoon of touring and sampling wine selections by vintners at Jessie Creek Winery and Natali Vineyards.
